Annapolis Annual Parade of Lights

One December night, a generation ago, people passing by downtown Annapolis saw a solitary decorated boat parading about the harbor. This vessel belonged to Jim Langer, a Spa Creek live-aboard, who in 1981 backed his home out of its slip and started what is now Annapolis’s most widely attended winter event. Read more about the history of this event at Inside Annapolis.

Plan to visit Annapolis this year to experience this tradition, shop, eat, drink, and enjoy the holiday season. This years event is scheduled for Saturday, December 12th. Check out the Eastport Yacht Club site lick on the link below for more info and see photos of last years entries.

Be sure to check out the William Page Inn for room availability. We'll be happy to help you plan your trip, attend local events and have a great holiday get-away!
